Although the method is actually very easy, but there are still many people who make the mistake of turning on the gasoline generator. This causes the generator engine can not be turned on. How to jumpstart a car with a generator - Here are the steps on how to start a car with the correct gasoline generator engine, namely:

Your car can be turned into an emergency generator. No need for complicated equipment, just a tool equipped with a power inverter. The working principle is quite simple, namely converting direct electric current (DC) in cars into alternating electric current (AC) and electricity used for households.

Simply plug the electrical connector from the power inverter into the lighter socket. The 12 volt DC electric current will turn into 120 volt AC. In this tool, of course, the car engine must be turned on or on, so that the battery in the battery does not run out.

So, that way, your car can be used as a generator when needed, such as when the power goes out for a long time, or when you are camping in the wilderness where there is no electricity.

The output generated from the power inverter can be used for small-scale electricity use, ranging from lighting (lamps), fans, televisions, and of course recharging laptop batteries and favorite gadgets. This tool can even be used to make a refrigerator to a washing machine.

The size of the electrical power issued depends on the power of the inverter, there are 200 watts, 300 watts, 500 watts and so on.

For a 4 stroke generator, make sure to use pure gasoline (premium, pertalite, or pertamax) and in clean condition. Fill the generator tank to the brim or enough, but not too little.

For 2-stroke generators, make sure to use mixed gasoline (a combination of pure gasoline with side oil) with a ratio according to the manual.

For a 4 stroke generator, make sure the engine oil is full or the water is average. Use new oil, do not use used oil, because it can affect the performance of the generator engine. As for the 2-stroke generator, it does not use engine oil.

Push the generator switch to the On position. Then open the fuel valve to allow gasoline to flow into the carburetor. If the gas filling is too little, then the gasoline cannot flow to the carburetor.

Slide the choke lever to the closed position before starting the generator. The choke position is close to the carburetor. There are usually instructions on how to position the choke open and closed.

Gently pull the starter lever back (do not pull it so that the starter rope is not damaged). Once it feels a bit heavy, just pull it firmly and tightly. For the first time, it usually takes 3-4 pulls before the generator starts. For generators that use batteries, how to turn them on is enough with contacts such as starting a car.

After the generator starts, return the choke lever to open. Do not forget to return the choke position, because it can cause the generator engine to choke and then turn off.

Allow some time (first 5 minutes) while the generator heats up. Don't give it a heavy load the first time. We recommend that you give the load in stages, starting from 500 watts, 1000 watts, 1500 watts, and so on. But do not exceed the wattage capacity listed on the generator.

To use electrical equipment, plug the plug (jek) into the generator outlet. Then push the breaker switch to the on position. After that, turn on the power tool.
